The Mighty Matadors defeated Dallas Madison Saturday, March 13th by a score of 69 - 63. The State Champion Mats return to Lubbock Saturday between 9:00-10:00 pm. The public is invited to welcome them home at the EHS campus,

Talkington 2009 School Report Card Available

LISD Spelling Bee Winner Announced

 
Makenna Ryan, a sixth-grade student from the Talkington School for Young Women Leaders, won the Lubbock ISD District Spelling Bee Saturday, February 6. Ryan was one of 41 students competing for the district championship. The winning word for Ryan was synthetically. She will represent Lubbock ISD in the regional spelling bee scheduled for March 6 at the Science Spectrum. The district runner-up was fifth-grade student Sagar Patel from Ramirez Charter School.
